I photographed this field across from my house in Bozeman. It used to be just another farm field, but a couple of years ago, the field became the property of MSU. They use it for agricultural research.
It has always been a ‘rainbow factory’. This is just one of many, many rainbows I’ve photographed over this field. The clouds over the yellow safflowers are what caught my attention. I walked over and took the photo just as the rainbow was fading.
