Rice fields are a source of inspiration for landscape photography, offering a variety of perspectives that can be admired throughout the year. At the end of summer, the rice is harvested by powerful tractors. The remains of the rice plants lie on the land until the following spring, golden straw that shines in the sun.

While walking through the Mondego River fields last October, I was marvelled to see the fields where rice had once grown and which were now vast brown/golden meadows. I found it amusing to see some of the tractor tire tracks, which seemed to have strayed from the line where it was usually working. To get a higher view, I used a drone that flew over the fields.
