On the west coast of Portugal, the sun always sets over the Atlantic Ocean. Walking along the beach near where I live a few days ago, I witnessed a magnificent sunset.
As it grew dark, I was marvelled to see the planet Venus above the horizon. In an hour, Venus will “descend” in the sky and disappear, but at that moment, it was a very bright point in a dark blue sky that caught my attention. With my camera mounted on a tripod, I used a low shutter speed to avoid increasing the ISO too much.
