Iceland is wild, elemental, and endlessly photogenic. It is also a land of extremes with vast black-sand beaches, towering waterfalls, glacial rivers, ice-strewn shores, volcanic landscapes, and rugged mountains. Add the possibility of dramatic skies, atmospheric weather, and winter light, and you have an extraordinary destination for landscape photography.
Our February 2027 photo tour with renowned landscape photographer James Rushforth, author of the FotoVUE guide to Iceland, promises an unforgettable journey through some of the country’s most spectacular landscapes. Traveling with James and a local driver-guide, we will explore the region while benefiting from his extensive experience photographing Iceland and his expertise in finding compelling compositions in challenging, changeable conditions.
