After two weeks of tropical temperatures and lack of rain, on Saturday it finally started to pour. The next day, Summer regained its grip. On the moors of the Bargerveen, part of Naturpark Moor-Veenland, a large moor system on both sides of the German-Dutch border, charming patches of ground fog formed at dawn. Under these circumstances, fairytale-like pictures are almost guaranteed. When the sun rose above the treeline, casting its rays, the fog became a blanket of gold.
