The Red Rocks (Rocce Rosse) in Arbatax are one of the town’s famous attractions, serving as the backdrop for a major annual music festival held right by the sea. As the last of the previous night’s revelers were leaving, I was setting up my tripod and camera.
Amidst yawns and curious glances, I searched for the perfect framing of a site that everyone photographs. At one point, I realized that if I positioned myself in a specific spot, I could capture the sun passing through the rocks, so I waited right there until the moment shown in the photo occurred.
