Sometimes a location lives up to its name. From Sunrise Point in Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah, I witnessed the first light after an overnight February snowstorm.
Fresh snow blanketed the canyon, revealing every contour as the rising sun ignited the cliffs, creating a striking contrast with the snow below.
For a few minutes, the warm morning light and fresh snow accentuated Bryce Canyon’s beauty before the brighter daylight took over.
