“I often return to my favorite places, this time to the west side of Mount Washington ski resort. It was my first time looking for an evening landscape there in late September. As I reached a high-level viewing point on this logging road, I was surprised to see low-lying marine fog covering all of the Johnston Strait. As I watched, the fog slowly changed color.
The colors being reflected on the surface of the fog created an awesome image. As I walked around with camera in hand, the sky continued to brighten with color. I adjusted my composition and lens settings and captured a few images.
At home, while reviewing all the images I had taken, I selected and processed this one. I am very pleased with the end results.”
