While driving the logging roads of the Comox Valley, I found myself driving in the fog. The higher I went, the foggier it got. Some of the scenes I was seeing changed quickly as I drove through them.
At this location, at the top of the mountain, I saw this part of the forest fading away in the fog. It looked very interesting. I stopped the Jeep, got out, and walked around. When I saw this composition, it became camera time. I took a number of shots from different angles.
At home, in Lightroom, I selected this image and processed it to achieve the best results. However, after looking at the image, I knew it should be in black and white. This image is the result of that conversion.
