I was first shown this area of Loch Ard by a photographer friend on what was possibly my first trip to Loch Ard and the surrounding area. It is just after an area known as the Narrows, and the pine tree stands on this little outcrop of land, just as the loch starts to open out again.
I always have a look across at this tree when passing, photographing it occasionally, but had never seen it lit like this on this particular November morning.
