Photo taken on an excursion from Dubai in the UAE to Oman. An extraordinary arid landscape, apart from this man-made reservoir. The heat was intense, so plenty of water and sunscreen are highly recommended. The light allowed for ISO 100 and a fast shutter speed. The location is accessible from Dubai by 4×4 vehicle and is quite a contrast to the super modern architecture of the city.
