After a harrowing drive in incredibly performing, modified GM Yukons up the side of the mesa, we were rewarded with the most stunning sunset I have ever experienced. The red rock simply glows, as if lit from within—magnificent embers in the dying light. I used a long lens to compress the image and to bring the formations into a more intimate composition.
