I took this picture during a trip to Namibia, specifically from a helicopter flying early in the morning over the Namib Desert. The trip itself was wonderful, as I could see this vast desert from a different perspective. At some point, the fog started to get denser, playing with the dunes, as illustrated by this picture. I love the general vibe of this image—the fog circling the dune and the early sunlight lighting up one side while the other remains cast in shadow.
