I spent wonderful days in the Rub’ al Khali desert in Oman. This desert exceeded all my expectations. I had never seen such beautiful dunes in any other desert before.
After spending a few days taking wide-angle shots and panoramas, I wanted to focus on more detail. Using a short telephoto lens, I tried to capture the “intimate” details of the desert. Light played a crucial role. For such detailed shots, I preferred the deep light of the morning or evening hours, as seen here.
