Marcela, named by the Jaguar Identification Project in Mato Grosso, Brazil, is a descendant of a line of tree-hunting jaguars in the Pantanal. During the dry season, the cats come down to the river to hunt the caiman that populate these waters. She waits patiently on a tree branch, watching from above, then leaping into the river atop her prey with exacting precision, making it look ridiculously easy.
