Lake Skadar is one of the biggest bird preserves in Europe. My wife and I had planned to get there at an optimum time to see and photograph the birds. No such luck! What we did find was a beautiful lake, with or without birds. The shot was taken from a boat, and the passage of reeds you see is the same passage that the rider goes through with the boat. A beautiful place, as I wrote, with or without birds.
