When first light hits this part of the Tadrart Desert in the south-east of Algeria, near the town of Djanet, the salmon-coloured sand turns even redder, hence its name, Tadrart Rouge. This was part of a 10-day photo tour in the Sahara Desert, in the deep south of Algeria.
