Landscape is more than mountains and hills, although I love them. Being born and bread in The Netherlands, I have learned to compose my landscape images using ‘the void’, clouds, the sky. When living in a flat country, the sky will always play a big role in your pictures.

This particular image was captured at the Markermeer, a large water in the centre of Holland. It features in many of my Dutch images. I love staring over the water. That, to me, is pure meditation. In this picture, the main subject is obviously the cloud opening up, showing lovely rays of sunlight.
