It was a chilly fall morning, the kind that carries a quietness in the air. The previous day had already gone miserable in ways that made me crave peace by myself, escaping people to go on a date with nature. So, I got on a bike and let my eyes lead me to the edges of the town, to a vast forest where the world no longer asks questions.

The forest revealed itself slowly, and at the end of it was a still pond with water as clear as a mirror, reflecting the distant mountain with an unreal calmness. There was no wind, nothing—only me and the pond. I enjoyed this pure serenity; the pond seemed to reflect myself as well, showing me the truth of my worries and leading me to inner peace.

I was fortunate to have my camera in my bag at that time, and I decided to capture this wonderful scene as part of my most valuable memories.
