We spent a couple of days in the Sedona area. The hotel where we stayed was about 1 mile from Ball Rock. On our second night, we found a good vista, on the Yavapai Trail, where we could photograph Bell and Courthouse rocks at sunset. There were many ledges along the trail to stop and take in the scenery. As the sun sank, the stone on the rock formations became warmer, with deep shadows.
