Driving up an old logging road to an old fire lookout location to capture this image was quite an adventure. The views from this Mt. Menzies location are outstanding. It took some time to pick the best spot, but I eventually settled on this composition. The view of the lakes below reminded me of many fishing trips.
Setting up my tripod, I attached my 6D Mark II and adjusted the focus as I looked through my Canon 24-105 lens before taking the shot.
After some minor adjustments in Lightroom, I printed a 30 x 17 on my Epson P900 printer. The print reminds me of many wonderful fishing trips on these lakes.
