The Livornese coast is one of the places that lends itself best to this kind of photography.
It is a location to which I keep returning, always keeping an eye on the weather. You often find logs of various shapes, especially after strong storms.
In this photograph, I aimed to capture the silent and powerful essence of a sunset over the sea, where the light spreads softly yet decisively, enveloping the horizon.
At the centre of the scene, the tree trunk smoothed by time becomes the natural protagonist: a sculptural presence that conveys the eternal dialogue between water, wind, and earth.
The warm light of the setting sun, combined with the gentle movement of the clouds, creates a suspended, almost meditative atmosphere.
