This photograph shows a mountain forest near Lake Walchensee, wrapped in delicate mist. Using a 300 mm focal length, I deliberately chose a narrow frame to emphasise the landscape’s fine details and sense of depth. I was especially drawn to the trees emerging from the haze – silhouettes hovering between visibility and concealment. The interplay of light, fog, and structure creates a quiet, poetic atmosphere that reflects the calm and mysterious beauty of nature.
