Aerial Abstract, Useless Loop, Shark Bay, Western Australia

Shark Bay has always been a place I’ve wanted to photograph from the air. Flying over the salt fields with their vibrant colours, unique shapes, and intricate lines is absolutely stunning, but I wanted to capture it in a different way.

During the flight, I decided to adjust my camera settings to achieve an Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) style of shooting. I used a slow shutter speed and a minimal ISO, and I was really pleased with the results. This technique allowed me to elongate the details of the scenes below, creating a unique perspective.
