I was not the first photographer to capture Skógafoss waterfall in Iceland, nor will I be the last. It is a must-see location along the southern section of the ring road, near Skógafoss village. This 60-meter-high and 25-meter-wide ‘water curtain’ is very beautiful and world-famous.
I have seen it under several weather conditions. This particular picture was taken around noon on a cloudless, though frosty day. Not the best conditions for capturing waterfalls. To my surprise, the image turned out pretty well. A bonus was the vague rainbow, caused by the spray.
