A year ago, I photographed this same scene at Nyaania Creek at sunrise—drawn in by the flow, the light, and the calm. But as my style evolved and I changed gear, I felt a strong pull to revisit it. This wasn’t about recreating the original shot—it was about reclaiming it in my own voice.
My editing has since evolved into a more apocalyptic, moody style that feels true to how I perceive and experience the landscape. This stunning scene was the perfect opportunity to blend nature’s beauty with the cinematic tones I now gravitate towards. It felt like a full-circle moment—capturing a familiar place, but this time, completely on my own terms.
