The Beautiful Glenoe Waterfall, Northern Ireland

I had always wanted to visit this waterfall, not too far from Belfast, and one day the weather seemed promising, so I raced up there. I spent a long time wading through the water trying to find the composition that I liked. I ended up picking this one and blending 3 exposures together. One was the general image, one was a slightly faster shutter speed to capture the foreground water and provide some texture near the viewer’s eyes, and the final one was a very fast exposure to freeze some of the leaves in the background that had been blurred by the wind. It was great to see everything come together and provide a beautiful image of my home country.
