Haramiyata Peak, also called the Black Rock, rises 2465 meters above sea level and is located in the eastern part of the “Seven Rila Lakes” cirque. The peak is reflected in the waters of three lakes: Ribnoto (Fish Lake), Trilistnika, and Bliznaka, where its formidable western wall descends.
Haramiyata is a typical example of an alpine carling peak, formed by the exaggerated activity of several neighbouring cirque glaciers located on both sides of the ridge in the current cirques of the Seven Lakes and the Chanakgyol Lakes.
Ribnoto (The Fish) Lake is the sixth lake in the group of the Seven Rila Lakes. It is located at an altitude of 2184 m above sea level, north of the Haramiyata peak—at the western foot of the ridge, which descends from the peak to the north-northeast. Fish Lake is the shallowest of the seven (average depth 1.10 m). It is 250 m long and up to 140 m wide. The Seven Lakes hut is located on the northeastern shore of the lake.
