I rekindled my interest in photography after the kids were grown. I have always had a love for the outdoors. I love to travel, and I like seeing new places.
I enjoy several genres photography-wise; landscape gets me outdoors, and I can quickly get in the zone and forget time altogether, just experiencing the sounds, smells and atmosphere of nature all around.
Most of my photographs feature water; living in Broughty Ferry has been part of my life since primary school, and I seem drawn to it.
I am happiest when I am around my family, but having a camera in my hand also brings pleasure. I also enjoy reading.
