After a family trip to Brittany, during which I hadn’t managed to find the time to photograph as much as I would have liked, we reached the last stop before returning to Italy. I requested that at least our final evening in France be spent somewhere with a lighthouse. The trip was in southern Brittany, while almost all the most famous lighthouses in the area are located in the northern part of the region.
I found myself facing a nearly deserted beach, with this signal tower—though not exactly a lighthouse—isolated in a sea full of rocks and rocky outcrops. I had to wait the entire trip, but the peaceful scene that presented itself to me was worth the wait.
