Picture Story

While visiting friends in San Luis Obispo I noticed this scene while shooting birds in the Morro Bay Estuary. I took note of the red and green foliage along the banks and the wheels started to spin. I scouted out a nice vantage point with the comp I had in mind. The next morning I set up the sticks and waited for the morning colors to creep over the creek. The sky cooperated and I was able to get the pink reflected tones I had anticipated. Being a bit of a desert rat I was happy to find such a calm scene in a landscape I wasn't too familiar with.
