Picture Story

That day, at the end of October, I decided to take a walk on the bank of Loch Ossian. The weather was capricious - as usual at this time of year in Scotland. On the tops of the higher hills there was still the first snow, which fell a few days earlier. I took this picture when I was only approaching the lake. Heavy clouds were hanging in the sky, but under them the sun was beautifully illuminating the lake overgrown with yellow peat. A moment later I was wetted by the first this day - but not the last - rainstorm.
