Picture Story

This picture was taken late March In Val di Orcia in Tuscany. This season is probably not the best for Tuscany but it happened that I was travelling through Italy at this time of the year. The truth is that Tuscany is so beautiful that in any season you can enjoy the scenery and the endless fields.

This shot was from my first afternoon in the area trying to find the perfect spot to take some sunset pictures. I passed nearby with the car and I immediately stopped. I liked this tree too much. When I got closer and saw the pile I was a bit disappointed but the sky started to look really nice and this lonely tree in the green field looked so beautiful that I couldn’t resist. I thought I could remove the pile afterwards in PS but to be honest I got too lazy.

At the end I really like this picture as it is and probably it is not only about the picture. This road trip was my trip back home after 1.5 year that I was living abroad. I was so happy that I was going back home and everything seemed amazing and still is!

Don’t get me wrong I love to travel but it is very important for me to have my home to return to.
