Rozenven, Roosendaal, Netherland by Johan van de Watering

I was at this fen on a cold, foggy morning and there was ripe on the canes on the water's edge. By using a polarizing filter, the ice in the front of the photo became very dark. As a result, the white reed stems were accentuated even more. Because of the foggy background, the photo 'runs away' into the infinite. For me a good example of a minimalist landscape!
