While catching up with fall colours in USA I travelled to Colorado and New England Near Boston. I was at a borderline time of fall as I arrived there in October and fall has almost vanished from Rocky mountain National park.
I took a bus route to New England from Boston expecting good fall colours. Since it was a day tour, it compelled me to take pictures in the noon time.
I was wondering if I could take any picture in sharp sunlight, but after seeing the tree I realised that the leaves are getting sharp and translucent fall colours against the deep blue backdrop of the sky.
The blue could be enhanced by wide angle lens, a circular polariser and a ND filter, all three I used.
During my exhibition in my city, this remained one of the most loved picture. I still feel this picture saved my day of shooting in noon time.
They say there is no bad light for photography, you must learn to turn the adversity to your side.
