Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy by Mark English

For me, this image (which I literally stumbled upon while driving to Maontalcino) encompasses several elements that I always associate with this part of the world: The red clay of the Crete Senesi, the intense blue of the Tuscan sky and the ever present orderly rows of Cypress trees along the approaches to many country homes. All of which came together in this simple arrangement of colour and pattern and texture.
