Which lens has changed your life and why?
It was definitely the Olympus M. Zuiko 12-40mm f/2.8. For landscapes it is the most practical zoom range and the sharpness of this lens is astonishing. Before I started shooting with this lens, I only used cheaper and lower quality lenses – the look of my pictures taken with the Olympus is really mind blowing. Finally I understood what it means that the lens is much more important then the camera.
How long have you been shooting with it?
I have been using it for nearly 4 years now.

What drew you to that lens initially?
Well, it is quite a simple story – thanks to my job I had the opportunity to try out any Olympus lenses, but I stick with the aforementioned one most of the time.
Has this lens lived up to or exceeded your expectations?
At this time, this lens has definitely exceeded my most daring dreams. It is a top quality lens with a great resolution / sharpness.
What advice would you give to other photographers considering this lens?
I recommend it for its combination of dimensions / weight and optical performance, as well as constant f/2.8 aperture, which makes it possible to shoot even portraits on 40mm (80mm in full frame terms) if needed. The most universal lens especially for landscape photography I ever used.
What is your future lens purchase?
I am thinking about buying some tilt-shift lens for architecture photography.
