Picture Story

The catinaccio is one of the best known dolomitic groups of the Italian Alps. it can be admired from the peak of the Sciliar massif. This shot was taken along the path that leads to the Vajolet towers. The path is very beautiful because it is immersed in a coniferous forest and is very easy to walk. The sky in this case has been very good to me because it has shown some beautiful clouds that almost seem to be handmade and lead the eye towards the bivouac located just before one of the towers. Although the place is very touristy, I think we can get beautiful compositions using wide angles to help create complex compositions that show all the mountains in this small stretch of path.
