Feedback by Tiffany Reed Briley

The colors in this image are beautiful and the weight of the darker rocks on the right balance the transition of the image from light to dark beautifully. While my initial thought was to suggest removing the moving figures in the image, I found that the ghostly representation added to the mystery and story of the image. I enjoy how the moving figures in the image fade from dark to light.
To enhance the image, you might look to slightly lift the mid-tone highlights to increase the separation and contrast. Also, the log on the bottom left being removed would open the image up and give the foreground breathing room.
This is a great reminder to all of us that when we are in the field shooting, to be mindful of objects that intersect into the image, and either making space for them with breathing room or omitting them altogether can dramatically enhance your composition.
Your placement of your horizon, the reflection, framing on the right with the trees and the overall composition are lovely, inviting and mysterious.
