Picture Story

I was visiting South Carolina and found this boneyard beach on Botany Bay Plantation. I spent two mornings photographing there, enjoying the morning light playing on these two trees that stood out in the water, due to years of erosion eating away at the beach. This was one of my favorite images, as the tree stood in silhouette against a cloudy sky while the waters of the Atlantic Ocean played around the remaining husk of a tree long gone.
