Small Bags Are The Best

When packing for a photographic trip, it is wise to remember that less is more. Rafael Rojas explains why a small bag containing limited gear will actually increase your freedom and will allow for more creativity

With the arrival of autumn and winter, the number of photographic trips increases and with it the logistical hassle of having to prepare and carry a lot of photographic equipment.

Over the years, I have realized that very often, the best camera bags are the smallest ones. Smaller bags force you to carefully choose the equipment you want to (or can) carry with you, and get rid of everything superfluous or which might undermine the experience and the joy of travelling.
