Doing It On the Cheap

Photography can be a notoriously expensive business but, as Andy Brown explains, there are plenty of ways that you can save some precious pounds

In an increasingly commercial world, luxury items like camera equipment often come at a premium, sometimes seemingly relegating them outside the reach of all but the deepest pockets. It doesn’t have to be that way though, and for all the fancy gizmos and technological marvels that money can credit you, remember the one item it can’t buy in a bid to make you a better photographer is you yourself.

You are the person that works the buttons and triggers, learns when to trip the shutter and when not to, and appreciates (hopefully!) that better gear …
