In a previous issue I wrote about my love of spending summer evenings on the North Yorkshire Coast, especially around Whitby. This seems to have been truer this year than ever before. Getting out with the camera on summer evenings and making the effort to get out of bed at silly o’clock to shoot the long quiet summer dawns has left me feeling refreshed, invigorated and inspired.
As I write this I am actively working on about a dozen coastal images. I have visited all the locations working out the compositions and I know exactly what conditions I need to get the very best from each of them.
