Resonating Places

Rafael Rojas loves landscapes where space and emptiness abound, the sublime outweighs the superficially beautiful, calm overshadows excitement and silence replaces noise: he explains why

I have just arrived from leading my annual photo trip to the Isle of Harris in the Scottish Hebrides. This is one of my favourite places on Earth, a place I am always fond of visiting.

After many years of travelling all over the globe, I have identified certain places which particularly resonate inside me. Places like Namibia, the Andean Altiplano, the Hebrides, and even the Patagonian steppes…
