There are two bridges that connect Anglesey with the rest of the UK. One of them is the Menai Bridge, the other one is the Britannia Bridge – this is the one that Cheryl Hamer finds fascinating during sunset, here is her story
It is not possible to write a series of articles about Anglesey without talking about ‘the bridges.’ We have two of them – the Menai Suspension Bridge and the Britannia Bridge and, according to the European Union, because of these Anglesey no longer qualifies as an island. Of course, if you ask anyone that lives here they will heavily dispute that – most of us get a huge sense of relief and happiness as we drive back over one of the bridges onto our island.
