From a photographic perspective, the scenery of St Ives with its exceptional light is mouth-watering. Keith Fergus has spent many early mornings exploring the coastline with only fishermen and seagulls for company

As a family, St Ives has become our summer holiday destination of choice over the last few years; its coastline, relaxed atmosphere and, usually, fine weather is a million miles away from the urban hustle and bustle of our home city of Glasgow. From a photographic perspective, the scenery with its exceptional light is mouth-watering, and I have spent many early mornings exploring the coastline with only fishermen and seagulls for company.
