One of the questions people ask me on a regular basis is “How do you save for web”. Having posting images on the web for many years now, and seeing the poor image quality some people post, I can completely understand their frustration.
Saving for web is a fairly simple process and yet, if you don’t know how to approach it, your images can suffer from poor image quality.
I have made things simple and will not say much; instead, I will let the screengrab talk for itself. Assuming you know how to resize and sharpen the picture, all you need to do is choose File > Save for Web & Devices, and follow the screengrab. Nothing scientific here, just simple steps.
