More and more these days, I find myself taking pictures on my own doorstep in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. The moors offer a range of beautiful and quite unique environments but they aren't spectacular or at least they don't have the immediate bold beauty of other national parks, like the Lake District or even much of the Yorkshire Dales. They have a more subtle, delicate beauty which can be difficult to capture and it took me several years to figure out how to do these landscapes justice with a camera.
