Because inspiration comes unexpectedly, we cannot force it to happen; we can only invite it by creating opportunities. In landscape photography inviting inspiration is achieved through the selection of the locations we explore and photograph. Visiting inspiring locations and knowing these locations well, either through research, personal experience, or by working with a guide, is the most effective way to invite inspiration and experience the artistic creativity that comes with it.
