Carpe Diem

At some point in our photographic life, most of us have been faced with moments when inspiration and motivation simply do not exist. What is one to do when this happens? Dan Andre shares his experience

It is the start of a new day: the sun is rising, my heart is beating and the gentle sound of the retreating tide fills my body like a beautifully composed, natural symphony. The clouds work like brushes, painting a huge canvas above my head with all the amazing colours you can imagine. I know what to do, I know how to do it, and I am at one with this experience.
